Episode 005: Reset - The Power of the Space In Between

Over the past month we’ve explored that tender space after one chapter ends but before the next one begins.

In this week’s episode, Kat invites you to slow down and honor the space where real transformation happens.

Some seasons are about action. Some are about stillness. In those moments, growth and progress can look like waiting, healing, resting, and untangling.

If you are in a season of transition or figuring out what's next, this episode is a reminder to go slow and just let yourself just be.

This episode features original music by Bryan Kastelan.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve shared stories about getting started, reinventing yourself, embracing your achievements, and pushing for more.

But trailblazing doesn’t happen without that space in between...the liminal space. One of my favorite writers, Richard Rohr, speaks about this space as the moment when we’re “betwixt and between”...having left one phase of life but not yet entered the next.

Maybe you’re thinking about changing your career, moving to a new city, starting a new business, or approaching your current business differently.

For this episode, I want to offer you a reset...a pause to honor that moment in between: the one that comes after you’ve let something go, but before you step into what’s next.

The space in between is where transformation begins.
It’s where up feels down and down feels up.
Things are shifting, and nothing feels settled.

There’s nothing to accomplish here.
No need to perform and no to push forward.

A moment for stillness and for letting go.
It’s not about where you’ve been
and it’s too soon to know where you’re going.
It’s about simply being here, right now.
Savoring each moment & finding calm in the chaos.
The space in between is fluid.
You don’t need to be anything.
You can just be a blob.
Untangling and releasing what doesn’t serve you.

You’re neither at the end nor the beginning.
You’re somewhere in between.

You can go slow.
Allowing progress to come when it’s ready.

It’s where you can fall apart and making new discoveries.
The space in between is where transformation begins.

And it’s where you start to discover what’s possible.
